Ageless aviation dreams comes to Tiger Field in Fernley, Nevada

Below is an article published by The Mailbox News October 15, 2014:

On Sept 4, 2014 a black and white Boeing Stearman bi-plane landed at Tiger Field, Fernley, NV. Veterans and senior-living residents were treated to a special individual flight by Darryl Fisher, the founder of this wonderful foundation Ageless Aviation Dreams.

The mission of Ageless Aviation Dreams is to “give back to those who have given”. The morning was beautiful with blue skies and scenic coulds.

For these veterans, it was a chance to relive part of their past and enjoy the beauty of flight.

Those enjoying a flight were Fernley Estates Residents: Jim Freeman-formerly of Yerington, Walt Kirkham-formerly of Fallon, Tina Nelson-Fernley, Harold Forrer-formerly of Fallon.

Larry Christensen and Chuck Aldous – Fernley residents and members of the Norther Nevada Veterans Coalition.

If you would like to sponsor a flight for a veteran or have Darryl bring his Stearman to your area, please see his website at www.agelessaviationdreams.org.
